Objectives and main duties: 

• The successful candidate will work closely with the FMP Advisory Team to implement all activities under Task 2. 
  

• S/he will assist the FMP Specialists in the Ministry (MAFWM) and the Montenegrin Forest Administration, to: support the activities of the FMP Working Group; contribute to the design, field testing and publication of new planning procedures and guidelines; contribute to the development of appropriate institutional and legal framework for effective planning at all levels; contribute to the design and delivery of training packages to Forest Administration / contractors in new FMP methods; contribute to the development of a Forest Information System; contribute to the finalization of accurate cost estimates for new forest management Planning methods; compile/update information on Forest Management Units and their current status; when required, contribute to technical translation of key meetings and documents.

Selection Criteria:  

• Diploma from forestry faculty;
• Minimum  3 years of working experience in activities related to forest management planning, in Montenegro and/or the region of South-East Europe;  
• Competent in computer skills, administrative jobs and project management
• Competence in the use of databases and Geographic Information System; 
• Excellent communication skills, proven ability to work with international teams and have capacity to compose clear and readable narrative reports; 
• Fluency in both English and Montenegrin (or similar language); 
• Driving Licence;
